Как започна всичко
Rada and Stiaan met in the Netherlands during their very first month away from home. Though they were studying in different cities and pursuing different bachelor's degrees, fate (or perhaps a very kind landlord) placed their dorm rooms directly across from one another.
In the beginning, theirs was a quiet sort of familiarity. They lived in the same building, shared the same friend group, and crossed paths in that easy, unhurried way that students do. But slowly, the inside jokes multiplied. The casual hangouts grew longer. And somewhere along the way, they started seeking each other out.
By the end of that first year, Stiaan had become a familiar face at the ice cream shop where Rada worked. He ate more ice cream that summer than anyone reasonably should, all for the chance to lean on the counter and talk to her a little longer.
And then, somewhere between the late-night stargazing sessions and the many cones of ice cream, these two far from home, found a new home, in each other.

Рада и Стиаан се запознаха в Нидерландия, през първия си месец далеч от дома. Учеха в различни градове и следваха различни специалности, но съдбата (или може би един много щедър наемодател) реши да постави стаите им една срещу друга. Отначало всичко беше една спокойна близост. Една сграда, общи приятели, случайни срещи в коридора - нямаше бързане и нямаше очаквания. Но малко по малко шегите станаха повече. Излизанията - по-дълги. И в някакъв момент те вече не чакаха случайността, а сами търсеха поводи да са заедно. До края на онази първа година Стиаан вече беше редовен гост в сладоледарницата, където работеше Рада. Той яде повече сладолед онова лято, отколкото е прилично за един човек, само за да се облегне на щанда и да поговори с нея малко по-дълго. И после, някъде между нощите под звездите и безбройните топки сладолед, тези двама, далеч от дома, намериха нов дом един с друг.
